Casas del Sol is a residential and holiday estate in Playa Blanca. The site is on the edge of the old village of Playa Blanca. The first buildings which line the central pedestrian shopping centre can be seen in the photograph on the right.

Everything you need for an enjoyable holiday is within easy walking distance. The central village area has an attractively designed pedestrian area. Shops, supermarkets, banks, chemists, restaurants and beaches are all close at hand.

Despite being so close to all amenities, Casas del Sol is an oasis of peace and quiet. The gardens are mature and spaciously laid out.

The estate has a large seawater heated swimming pool and a small children's paddling pool. There is also a tennis court.

Just across the road from the estate is Playa Blanca's small and busy harbour. Two large ferries make frequent crossings to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. The crossing takes around half an hour, so you can spend the day in Fuerteventura and be back in Playa Blanca for an evening meal on the promenade.

Alternatively, in half an hour a sea taxi can take you from the harbour to the beautiful and famous natural area of Papagayo with it's beautiful golden sandy beaches.

The promenade is an attraction in itself. It stretches for kilometre after kilometre along the edge of the sea. Walk eastwards towards Papagayo Point, or westwards towards the lighthouse on Pechigera Point.

There is regular bus service to Puerto del Carmen (one of the other main tourist centres on the island) and to Arrecife (the capital). Conveniently, the bus stop is just outside the estate.

For those who wish to explore a little further, cars can be hired cheaply and easily from the many car hire companies in Playa Blanca.

The bungalow consists of two double bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a double bed. The twin bedded room has an ensuite shower room. There is a large combined lounge, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washing machine. The lounge area has a satellite TV. Cot & safe available for hire. Sliding patio doors open onto a large sun terrace, which incorporates a shaded area where you can relax if the sun is a little too much for you.
