| Peregrine Falcon peregrinus | A female ringed in Yorkshire, England on the 29 May 1997 was found dead on a beach on Lanzarote on the 27 Mar 98, having flown 3066 Kms . This is a remarkable movement for a British bred Peregrine as only two other birds known to have left the British Isles are an Irish reared bird to Portugal in 1981 and a Welsh bird to NW France in 1994.
