Aerial View of Casas del Sol and Playa Blanca's Harbour

The Casas del Sol estate is in the centre of this photograph. The estate's large heated swimming pool can clearly be seen. The bungalows on the right of the pool (as seen here) are built on rising land, and this gives some of them excellent views over the harbour and out over the sea to the Papagayo beaches and the distant islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos. Three beaches (Playa Blanca, Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo) are within five to fifteen minutes walking distance.

Also seen are:

the beginning (bottom right) of what was the old fishing village of Playa Blanca, but which is now a thriving centre with modern sea front shops and restaurants.
the dual carriageway - leading right to the outskirts of the town and the main Airport/Arrecife road.
the village promenade - beginning near the harbour and winding it's way to the very edge of the famous Papagayo area (several kilometres away).
some of the boats (bottom left) which sail to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos - and to the Papagayo beaches.

As can be seen, one of the main attractions of the Casas del Sol estate is that it is so close to everything - and yet it remains quiet and peaceful.
