When on holiday, it is important to be close to all facilities, yet to be living in a quiet and peaceful area.
Casas del Sol was built in the early 1980's, before Playa Blanca's tourist boom took off. The result - contrary to the present trend (to build as close as possible), space was not an issue at that time and the construction company was very generous with it's layout of the estate. Peace and quiet is the result.
The Casas del Sol Estate In Playa Blanca
The estate is centrally situated on the south coast of Lanzarote.
Walking Eastwards (

Walk eastwards and you will pass, first, through the commercial centre of Playa Blanca with it's small white beach.
Then onwards past the Dorada Beach and the luxury marina, Marina Rubicón.
After the marina, the promenade skirts cliff tops. The name given to this area ("Las Coloradas") is derived from the colourful nature of the rocks.
Las Coloradas is the latest area of Playa Blanca to experience development and is the last urban development before we arrive at the internationally famous beaches and cliffs of Papagayo.
Walking Westwards (

Walking westwards from the centre of Playa Blanca and Casas del Sol, the promenade will take you, first, around the headland of Punta Limones.
Fabulous hotels line this coastline.
An hour's walk along the promenade will bring you to Pechiguera Point with it's
towering lighthouse warning shipping of the dangers lurking along this farmost western point of Playa Blanca. The raging seas and the glorious sunsets are features of Pechiguera Point.

The majority of the owners, who let their bungalow on Casas del Sol, do so through an agent named Casas del Sol Services (Spanish company name: "Casas del Sol Servicios S.L." - but we on the estate know it simply as "Servicios").
