The roof of Hotel Gran Meliá Volcán [click for info] is very unusual, being built to suggest a volcano, of which Lanzarote has more than 300 (extinct, I hasten to add). The hotel and the marina are located in an enviable situation for beach and boat lovers. They are not far from the Papagayo beaches which we will be viewing shortly. |
