 Pechiguera Point to Papagayo Point |
The Playa Blanca Coastline The southern coastline of Lanzarote is occupied by the town of Playa Blanca (which extends from Pechiguera Point in the west to Coloradas Beach in the east) and then by the headlands and beaches of Papagayo. The Coloradas Beach is really the first of the Papagayo beaches, but urban development is now taking place in this area. Thankfully, building is prohibited any further eastward or southeastward, and it is intended that the rest of the beautiful Papagayo area will remain completely as nature created it. A Sequence Of 70 Photographs Perhaps the best way to give a true and realistic impression of what the southern coastline of Lanzarote is like is to start by showing photographs taken near Pechiguera Point and then continue eastwards to Papagayo Point.
